Nomato sauce with gluten free spaghetti bolognaise

This car-crash of a meal is Nomato Spaghetti bolognaise…but hold the Lloyd Grossman’s jar, here’s how you make it WITHOUT nightshades! aka without tomato:

Nomato sauce pasta!

Peel and chop 6 carrots, 1 beetroot, 1 onion, 3 celery ribs and boil. Stick a bayleaf in for good luck. When it starts to boil, simmer until the veggies are soft. Remove the bayleaf, put the veggies in the blender and Tadaaah! Noomato sauce: tomato sauce without the tomato!

To make the rest I just made a normal spag bol with GF pasta (which is why it’s twirls not spaghetti…gf spaghetti sticks ridiculously but the twirls aren’t bad).

If you are intolerant/allergic to nightshades watch out because Heinz GF pasta contains potato flour. We use Tesco’s own brand, which is a cornflour based pasta. Just DON’T over cook it, it tastes like school-dinner pasta if you do! Best al-dente!
