Ikea easel

This isn’t a review as such, I’ve not been provided with a free easel or anything (alas) but I just had to share! I bought this at Christmas time as a bit of an after-thought and didn’t give it as they had loads of things…I left it in the garage. Then one rainy day the kids were annoying me so I got it out for them. It’s brilliant!!

There’s a chalk board on one side and a white board on the other.

It’s pretty cool because it fits the Ikea paper rolls (like lining paper and cheap to boot!) The kids have turned into prolific artists!

The only thing I would say is that there’s only a tray on one side, the paper roll is on the other so if one child is chalking and another is on the other side painting, they haven’t got anywhere to put their paints.

A small irritation though (and one not shared by the kids)

The easel is tall enough that Elizabeth (almost 10) can use it and small enough that Oona (20 months) can use it so I am pretty impressed!

It’a only £16 aswell…I would recommend you order online though because if you are anything like me you will go to Ikea to spend £16 on an easel and actually finish up spending £350 on ‘essential items’ and come home with a trolley full of tea lights!
