Excuse the state of my living room in these pictures! I don’t always tidy up before taking pictures for the blog! I suppose I should and then you might all think I am Super Woman ha ha!
Anyway, I’m here to tell you all about Freegle and my recent experience. I often put our used and unwanted items on Freegle, I think that Charity Shops are often over-priced and families that need things need them for free, not at a similar price to the shops! I once looked at some clothes in our local charity shop (and I don’t live in a particularly affluent area) a George dress was selling for £2! £2!! I bought Oona a brand new George dress the other day and it was only £4 full price. So I like to use Freegle. Sometimes I also ask for things people post on Freegle too, I’ve had a hen house, wool and fabric for the kids craft, printed resources from a teacher, even a lump of amethyst for Elizabeth from a lovely lady! Anyway, this time a man had offered a box of boys books. So I asked if we could have them and he said yes. When I got home I found these in the box.
Leon is a very chuffed little boy! And Oona is a very dangerous little girl!
Ooh I nearly forgot to say, I recently posted an illegal post on Freegle:
Wanted: To Learn Tatting, Rossendale
and I received a reply! A lady called Beatrice is coming over to teach me how! Eeeeek!
