I love Yellow Moon because the kids can just get on with the craft on their own whilst I catch up on cleaning or blogging or put my feet up with a cuppa… and we were sent some lovely Yellow Moon star wands through the post to make. Here’s the children’s craft session photographed by the children. I think this was an early morning craft session judging by the fact that they are all in their pjs! I think I must’ve been in the shower.
They are well trained, they know to take pictures of the packet so you can easily find them and order them for yourselves on the website! This pack rather helpfully contains four stars so they made one each.
I think a small dab of PVA glue was required to attach the stick to the star however Oona decided her star would be well and truly glued to death. The mosaics had sticky on the back and were simple to peel and stick.
Imogen’s stickers are perfectly aligned!
Leon’s less so! ha ha
I don’t seem to have a picture of Elizabeth’s finished star. Even though the activity itself was easy for the older girls, they enjoyed joining in and it enabled them to be able to show Oona and Leon what to do. As well as that, they now have them in their bedrooms as an extra bit of Christmas decoration so it all worked out very nicely.
I will have more Yellow Moon crafts for you soon as they sent us a lovely big box of Christmassy stuff.
